Biomedical Equipment Maintenance & Repair

The purpose of this competitive solicitation is to establish a pool of qualified and certified vendors to provide maintenance and repair services on the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) biomedical equipment.

The biomedical equipment is located across the State of Washington, within either DSHS owned and/or leased facilities.

Some facilities will authorize services through executed contracts (see Attachment A, Sample Contract), to include annual preventive maintenance for certification purposes, while other facilities will authorize maintenance and repair services with the use of purchase orders.

DSHS intends to award of up to three (3) Contractors in each County, and up to two (2) additional Contractors to a Washington Small Businesses and/or Certified Veteran-Owned Businesses per county.

The total potential or estimated contract value for this Competitive Solicitation is unknown. The vendor(s) awarded under this solicitation will be available for use by all DSHS facilities statewide. Each facility will independently determine whether an awarded contractor meets its needs and whether to purchase the included services. DSHS does not guarantee any purchases from the resulting pool of awarded vendors.
