Applicant: If you are contacting BCCU to discuss the information being reported on your background check, please have your background check results readily available. If you do not have a copy of your results, you will need to submit a Applicant Request for a Copy of Background Check Information Form to BCCU. We cannot discuss the results with you until you have a copy.

BCCU staff are happy to assist any applicant that would like to schedule an in person appointment. However, most information can be explained in detail by phone, saving the applicant a trip to the building, travel and parking costs. If you would prefer to speak with someone in person, you can begin the process by calling. 

Requesting Entity: If you are contacting BCCU with questions regarding the status of a background check, please have the following information available so we may promptly assist you:

  1. Date the authorization form(s) was submitted to BCCU;
  2. BCCU account number from box 4 of the authorization form;
  3. Applicant's first name, last name, and date of birth;
  4. BCCU Inquiry ID/OCA number, if applicable; and
  5. Identify what type of background check it was, i.e. priority processing, standard or fingerprint based.
