From Anna Aylward, DFFR Director

The front desk staff at Capitol View 2 has been at the top of their game during the COVID-19 crisis. Angel Lynne, Brett DeRousie and Kaycee Keys — along with supervisor TyShawn Cordon — have met the challenges of teleworking by ensuring adequate social distancing, continuing to cover the desk and keeping up with their unit’s workload all while aligning with the Governor’s “Stay Home, Stay Healthy” order.

“They have become innovators at creating new work flows and processes as telework has changed the landscape for their daily tasks and presented new opportunities for change and adaptation,” said Anna Aylward, DFFR Director.

With no agency vehicle issues and a quiet front door, the front desk staff has changed their work schedules to have two people in attendance, Monday through Friday, and rotated their telework days so they are all furthering the unit’s work through documentation and developing updated desk manuals.
