DDA is planning to create a new chapter of rules to regulate the emergency transitional support services provided at Rainier School. These services were created in direct response to the COVID-19 public health emergency. With the declared state of emergency ending, these rules are intended to inform clients about the service they are receiving and the future of that service. DDA is also planning to amend sections in chapters 388-825 and 388-845 WAC to implement the consumer-directed employer program and align with changes being made to modernize the CARE system.
