Leased Facilities

What We Do

The Leased Facilities Unit (LFU) provides facilities management, leasing, and design services for 3.1 million square feet of leased office and warehouse space statewide for DSHS Administrations. Responsibilities include 173 leases and sub leases in 132 facilities totaling $124 million per biennium.

Oversight Functions include:

  • Oversight for DSHS 6 year Facilities Strategic Planning.
  • Responsible for project management for new leasehold acquisitions and actively working over 120 facility projects for multiple programs.
  • Serve as the DSHS leased facilities liaison to Department of Enterprise Services.
  • Maintain compliance with agency space and utilization standards, state and local jurisdictions, ADA, etc.
  • Provide leasehold management services to our tenant customers to ensure landlord compliance with terms and conditions of the lease.
  • Manage and update the DSHS centralized information leased facilities database and website.
  • Provide property management services at the multiple DSHS locations.
