This issue paper contains two research products: (1) a briefing paper prepared by Wendell Wilson in March 1986 summarizing findings on refugee use of public assistance: and (2) a set of tables prepared for a grant application to the U.S. Social Security Administration's Office of Refugee Resettlement. The data found in the tables provide a more detailed version of the information summarized in the briefing paper.
