The Employee Data Project was authorized on January 8, 1991 by the DSHS Cabinet in order to provide information about the employment of protected group members. The information is to be used by managers for planning and program development. Separate reports for each protected group were specified, to be provided in the following order: disabilities, minorities, gender, and veterans (disabled and Vietnam era).
