This report provides an overview of the Fiscal Year 2000 operations of the DSHS/DOH Human Research Review Board (HRRB). The HRRB is the institutional review board (IRB) for the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services and the Washington State Department of Health. The report summarizes the Board’s authority and functions, outlines the human research review process, and describes major activities during Fiscal Year 2000.
