The Aid for Families with Dependent Children - Employable (AFDC-E) program in Washington State was terminated by legislative action, effective February 28, 1981. ESSB 3636 requires the Department of Social and Health Services to report to the Legislature how the 7,758 former recipient families were affected by this action.
