Chapter 388-848 WAC, Civil Transitions Program. DDCS is adopting new sections of rule to implement Engrossed Second Substitute Senate Bill 5440 (2023), which directs DSHS to develop a process for connecting individuals who have been found not competent to stand trial due to an intellectual or developmental disability to available wraparound services and supports in community-based settings. DDCS has previously submitted emergency rules to cover the initial implementation of the services and is seeking to make the full Chapter 388-848 WAC permanent. |
