FORMAL PHASE OF AMENDMENTS TO CHAPTER 388-101 WAC
Dear Certified Community Residential Services Provider:
In August 2013, the department filed a CR-101 to begin the rule adoption process to amend Chapter 388-101 Washington Administrative Code (WAC), Certified Community Residential Services and Supports. Changes are being made to comply with changes to state law made by the 2013 Legislature in Senate Bill (SB) 5510. The department is also making changes to comply with Substitute House Bill (SHB) 2056 (Chapter 10, Laws of 2012) passed in the 2012 legislative session.
The department recently filed the CR-102, a more formal phase of the rule making process. The CR-102 (WSR 13-23-101), including proposed rule language, is available on the ALTSA website under the heading, "CRS Rule Filings", at:http://www.altsa.dshs.wa.gov/professional/crs.htm.
You may either submit any comments in person at the public hearing listed below or in writing to the department's Rules and Policies Assistance Unit (RPAU). The formal hearing for the proposed rules is scheduled:
