SUPPLEMENTAL CR-102: FORMAL PHASE PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO CHAPTER 388-78A WAC
Dear Boarding Home Administrator and Interested Parties:
In June 2011, the department filed a CR-101 to begin the rule adoption process for changes to Chapter 388-78A Washington Administrative Code (WAC), Boarding Homes Licensing Rules to implement bills which were signed into law during the 2011 legislative session.
As a result of comments and feedback received during the rulemaking process and to clarify services that a boarding home may provide a nonresident individual, the department has filed a Supplemental CR-102 for sections of chapter 388-78A WAC related to the services that a boarding home may provide a nonresident individual. The Supplemental CR 102, including draft rule language, is available on the ADSA website at, under the heading, “BH Rule Filings Chapter 388-78A WAC”: http://www.adsa.dshs.wa.gov/professional/bh.htm
You may either submit comments in person at the formal public hearing listed below or in writing to the department’s Rules and Policies Assistance Unit (RPAU).
