Multiple-Family Group Treatment - MFGT

Multiple-Family Psychoeducation Group Treatment is a model that was developed by William McFarlane, M.D., originally to work with families of individuals with schizophrenia. Through research conducted by McFarlane and others, the field of mental health has identified Multiple-Family Group Treatment as an evidence based model.
Clinicians at CSTC are excited to work with families to develop an adopted version of the model to our work with children and adolescents with emotional and behavioral difficulties.
We invite families to join with us, to use a model that brings together our clinicians with knowledge from the mental health field and our families with expert knowledge of our children and adolescents, to overcome barriers and allow our children to be successful.
