Behavioral Health Treatment Needs and Outcomes among Medicaid Children in Washington State

This dashboard provides a snapshot of behavioral health needs and outcomes for children and youth on Medicaid in Washington State and for the subgroup in foster care. Rates of behavioral health needs are also compared across demographic categories, region, Medicaid coverage type, cross-system involvement, abuse and neglect history, and parental risk factors. Outcomes examined include behavioral health treatment penetration and utilization, psychotropic polypharmacy, juvenile justice involvement, emergency department utilization, and injury rates.
