Congress passed and the president signed legislation to end the federal government shutdown.
Programs administered by the Department of Social and Health Services were not impacted by the temporary shutdown, and there were no changes to services. February food and cash benefits are still being issued to recipients. All other services that DSHS provides are continuing as usual, and DSHS employees are reporting to work as usual.
