Adult Day Health centers in Washington State are designed to help impaired elderly persons remain in the community by providing rehabilitative therapy, personal care and social services. This research report provides information on characteristics of clients enrolled in Adult Day Health programs. Data on client characteristics were gathered from the intake assessment form utilized by the Adult Day Health centers in the state. This assessment form was requested for all persons entering an Adult Day health program in 1981.
