OLYMPIA- The Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) has named David L. Holt as interim Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Western State Hospital. He begins his official capacity in this role July 7, 2018.

Holt is replacing Dr. Marylouise Jones, who announced last week she was departing Western to pursue an opportunity in the private sector. Interim CEO at Western State Hospital leaving for private sector

OLYMPIA- The Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) announced that interim Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Western State Hospital, Dr. Marylouise Jones, is leaving her post at the 857-bed facility to take the lead on inpatient care for a private mental health provider.

Jones stepped in after former hospital CEO, Cheryl Strange, was appointed by Governor Jay Inslee to serve as Secretary for DSHS in September 2017.

DSHS partnership adds another option for making child support payments

OLYMPIA- A new partnership between the Department of Social and Health Services and LexisNexis will make paying child support easier for parents in Washington state and across the country.
