    Long term care is a variety of services, programs, and resources that help adults with health or personal care over an extended period of time. This can be as simple as having someone mow your lawn or check in on you occasionally to needing more help with physical care like dressing or bathing.

    For most people, the type and level of help needed changes slowly as they move into older age.  About 60% of people over 65 will need some level of help with physical care or help around the house as they get older.
