Chehalis, WA – On June 30, 2025, the Department of Social and Health Services’ Chehalis Community Services Office is relocating from NE Hampe Way to 1247 Harrison Ave., Centralia, WA 98531. The new office will be located just south of Blakeslee Junction off Interstate 5 at exit 82, less than six miles from the former location. DSHS customers will be able to travel to the new location via the Twin Transit Centralia-Chehalis Connector Yellow Route.
The Hampe Way location will provide access to services until 3 p.m. Monday, June 30. At 8 a.m. Tuesday, July 1, Harrison Avenue will become the temporary location for the Chehalis CSO while permanent relocation plans are in the works. The office will continue to offer access to the same public benefits and programs like Basic Food, cash and medical assistance as it did in the former location.
During the move and while the temporary location is renovated for full operations, DSHS mobile outreach trucks will be at Harrison Avenue in Centralia to ensure service continuity and support Lewis County customers and employees. People are also encouraged to access DSHS community services by calling the Customer Service Contact Center at 877-501-2233 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday or by going online to WashingtonConnection.org. Other nearby CSOs are listed on the DSHS website.
