Data, Assessments and Reports

DVR studies and reviews information to better understand the experiences and needs of the people we serve. We focus on what customers need to achieve their job goals and succeed at work. What we learn helps us create DVR’s State Plan, which explains our goals, priorities, partnerships, and the services we provide.

Comprehensive Statewide Needs Assessment (CSNA)

The Comprehensive Statewide Needs Assessment (CSNA) is a statewide study about the vocational rehabilitation needs of people with disabilities. It looks at things like:

  • Population and economic data,
  • Needs of youth,
  • People with the most significant disabilities,
  • Groups who may not be well-served, including racial and ethnic minorities, and
  • How well the service system is working.

The results of the CSNA help shape the goals and priorities in DVR’s State Plan and improve our understanding of customers and their needs. DVR works with the Washington State Rehabilitation Council (WSRC) to complete the CSNA. Together, we involve partners, customers, and other stakeholders in the process.
