OLYMPIA- In honor of August being Child Support Awareness month, the Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) will be hosting a Child Support 101 session in Thurston County for parents and family members who want to learn more about the topic.

The session will be from 4 to 6 p.m., Monday, August 20 at the Tumwater Timberland Library, 7023 New Market Street. Topics covered will include: how to open a case, changing a support order, when child support ends and child support enforcement among other topics.
