  • Contact Complaint Resolution Unit:

  • Respond within a timeframe
    • For phone calls: Respond within 48 hours, or Acknowledge complaint within 48 hours if the issue is being worked on. Attempt to resolve complaint, or make contact with; Refer to another agency if needed.

Who do I contact if I want to file a complaint or solve a problem with my long-term care?

If you do not feel comfortable talking to your case manager or their supervisor, or if you feel your case manager has not adequately addressed your concerns, you can contact the Washington State Long-Term Care Ombuds Program at 1-800-562-6028 or on their website.

Who do I contact if I want to file a complaint or solve a problem with my in-home care?

You can contact your local Area Agency on Aging. Find your nearest Area Agency on Aging.
