Service Experience Team (SET)

Who We Are and What We Do

The Service Experience Team (SET) is a client advocacy group created by the Home and Community Services (HCS) Division of Aging and Long-Term Support Administration.  The SET is intended to increase our ability to provide information, receive input, and to better understand the impact of our policies and services on the individuals who receive them. 

SET Membership is comprised of individuals who receive HCS or Area Agency on Aging (AAA) authorized long-term services and supports through Medicaid and Older Americans Act/State programs, and representatives of consumer advocacy organizations.  The SET works in partnership with our clients and their advocates, to promote choice, quality of life, health, independence, safety, and active engagement of programs developed and operated by HCS.

The SET meets three times a year, in January, May, and September.  Meetings are held at various locations across the state, and you may also attend via conference call from your home or other setting. For more information, please see the SET Charter.

Upcoming Meetings

The next SET meeting will be held on September 23, 2019.  Meeting rooms are reserved in Seattle, Tacoma, and Colville.  A conference line will be available for members who cannot attend in person.
