A Four-and-a-Half Year Follow-up Study of Indigent Persons Served by Washington State's Alcoholism and Drug Addiction Treatment and Support Act (ADATSA)

This study examines five groups of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Treatment and Support Act eligible clients who participated in chemical dependency treatment and/or vocational services and compares them against similarly matched groups who were eligible for chemical dependency treatment, but did not receive the services. Overall employment outcomes are provided based on a 4½ years follow-up after treatment was completed (most completed treatment during 1990). Earnings as well as employment rates are identified.
