These profiles are a comprehensive collection of reports at the state and county level that provide survey estimates of use, abuse, and need for substance abuse. In addition, estimated levels of need for services are compared to actual services delivered for the total adult population and for various population subgroups. Information available includes: 1. Estimates of the demographic characteristics of the state or the respective county populations; 2. Estimates of substance use, substance use disorder, and need for treatment based on the Washington State Needs Assessment Household Survey (WANAHS); 3. Services utilization data from the Division of Alcohol and Substance Abuse's treatment reporting database (TARGET); and 4. Comparisons of need for services both county wide and by demographic subgroup
