Barber and Beauty Services:
Western State Hospital provides all patients the opportunity to receive hair care at no cost. Two licensed beauticians provide a variety of hair care services (perms, cuts, wash) to all patients in the hospital.
The beauticians go to the treatment units or treatment centers to provide hair care. Patients can also make an appointment to take place at the barber/beauty shop located within the hospital.
The beauty shop also provides a monthly schedule to the treatment units and treatment centers so patients are able to make appointments in advance.
