WA 2-1-1 Assistance (wa211.org) is the provider for DSHS TBI Information and Referral Services
Washington 2-1-1 is a free confidential service accessed by calling 2-1-1 or (877) 211-9274.
A person is connected with a Community Resource Specialist who is trained to actively listen and understand the person’s needs for access to more than 32,000 resources.
From utility assistance, food, housing, health / medical, childcare, after-school programs, elder care, crisis intervention and much more.
Information and Referral, also known as I&R, provides information about services and assists people in connecting with the supportive resources and services they are seeking. Community Resource Specialist can link to existing public, private, and local area services.
I&R service updates improve the way a connect for those experiencing traumatic brain injuries (including support networks and communities) to services and resources.
