This report describes the housing status (homeless versus not) and characteristics of youth and young adults (ages 12 to 24) aging out of Washington State foster care, discharged from publicly funded residential or inpatient treatment for behavior health, released from Juvenile Rehabilitation institutions or released from an adult correctional facility. The report is a collaboration between the Department of Social and Health Services Research and Data Analysis Division and the Department of Commerce.
