Receive Child Support Payments

 

The Division of Child Support will automatically enroll you enroll in the DCS Card Program unless you have requested direct deposit. In most cases, child support payments are available on your DCS card or in your bank account within two business days after DCS applies the payments to your case.

By DCS Card

The DCS card looks and acts like a prepaid debit card without the need for a bank account. Your child support payment will be applied to the card balance, and you can use the card anywhere VISA is accepted, or at any ATM. Depending on the location, ATM fees might apply.

While DCS disburses the payments on your DCS debit card, US Bank issues your card and administers your account. If your DCS card has been lost, stolen or damaged or you spot fraudulent charges, please call US Bank at 866-363-4136 immediately to cancel your card and request a replacement.

You can check the balance on your card at any ATM or point-of-purchase terminal or by contacting US Bank at 866-363-4136 or online at www.DCScard.com.

If you’re not enrolled in the DCS Card Program, you can enroll by calling DCS at 800-468-7422.


By direct deposit

If you would like your payments deposited directly into your bank account, you will need to complete and return a Direct Deposit Authorization form to DCS. You can download the form here or call 800-468-7422 to have the form mailed or emailed to you.

It takes about 20 days from the date we receive your authorization to set up the deposit with your bank. We will mail you a notice telling you when the deposit starts. If you have questions, call us at 800-468-7422.
