2023 Child Support Schedule Workgroup; parent engaging with child at play Attention Parents! Every four years, the Child Support Schedule Workgroup convenes to review how child support is calculated. The workgroup uses data to make recommendations to improve child support orders for families. If you are interested in being part of this important work, we invite you to be a member of the 2023 Child Support Schedule Workgroup. All Division of Child Support offices are open to the public. Customers are no longer required to wear a mask while indoors, but are asked to affirm whether or not they are experiencing any COVID-like symptoms. Maintaining social distancing is still in place. DCS staff, while serving clients in congregate settings, will continue wearing masks. 

Payments in Child Support offices are suspended. Although our offices are now open,  offices will continue to not accept child support payments. See our Paying Child Support page for information on how to make a payment. We are always happy to assist you by phone at 800-442-KIDS (5437). You also can send an email to DCS-CRU@dshs.wa.gov. We will respond within the next business day.

Do you know about the Child Tax Credit? As part of the American Rescue Plan, this credit can provide monthly payments of $250-300 per month for each child to help make ends meet. The Division of Child Support is committed to our administration’s goal to cut poverty in half by 2025. The Child Tax Credit can help. Find out more at childtaxcredit.gov.
